When you visit our website, IONOS collects various log files including your IP addresses. For details, please see the IONOS privacy policy: https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy.
The use of IONOS is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in ensuring that our website is presented as reliably as possible. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how this is done and for what purpose. We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. The consent can be revoked at any time. If your data is required for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Information on the relevant legal basis in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this data protection declaration
Note on data transfer to the USA
Our website may contain data that is not transferred to the USA. tools from companies based in the USA. When these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to the US servers of the respective companies. We would like to point out that the USA is not a safe third country in the sense of EU data protection law. U.S. companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you, as the data subject, being able to take legal action against this.
It can therefore not be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) process, evaluate and permanently store your data located on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke an already given consent at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 DSGVO)
If the data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, blocking, deletion and correction
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction, restriction or deletion of this data. Right to restrict processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. For this purpose, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.
The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:
If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If the processing of your personal data happened / happens unlawfully, you may request the restriction of the data processing instead of the deletion.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or enforce legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
If you file an objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 DSGVO, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

Data collection on our website
Cookies
Our Internet pages use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files and do not harm your terminal device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your terminal device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your terminal device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.
Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is based exclusively on this consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 Para. 1 TTDSG); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are disabled, the functionality of this website may be limited.
If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you about this separately within the framework of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request your consent.
Overview and description of the cookies we use
Name | Function | Category | Type | Process |
PHPSESSID | Preserves the status of the user session across all page requests. | Required | HTTP | Session |
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information that they automatically transmit via their browser in so-called server log files. These are:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact data you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, provided that your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO) if this has been requested.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Request by e-mail, phone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request.
The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent that they are necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our Internet pages (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill the user.
The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Data transfer upon conclusion of a contract for services and digital content
We transmit personal data to third parties only if this is necessary within the scope of the contract initiation/processing, for example to the credit institution commissioned with the payment processing. A further transmission of the data does not take place or only if you have expressly agreed to the transmission. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes. The basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
Social media
Share content (Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing & Co.)
The content on our pages can be shared in social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or Google+ in a privacy-compliant manner.
The content sharing function simply opens the respective platform and passes the URL of the page to be shared. There is no transfer of user data to the operators of these platforms, which is why the user must actively register on the respective platform himself. Our users can share the content of this page in social networks in a privacy-compliant manner without complete surfing profiles being created by the operators of the networks.
Our social media presences
Data processing through social networks
We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks. The social networks used by us in detail can be found below.
Social networks such as Facebook, Google+, etc. can generally analyze your user behavior extensively when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. LikeButtons or advertising banners). Visiting our social media sites triggers numerous processing operations relevant to data protection. In detail:
If you are logged into your social media account and visit our social media presence, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. However, your personal data may also be collected under certain circumstances if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal. In this case, this data collection takes place, for example, via cookies that are stored on your terminal device or by recording your IP address.
With the help of the data collected in this way, the operators of the social media portals can create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. In this way, interest-based advertising can be displayed to you inside and outside the respective social media presence. If you have an account with the respective social network, the interest-based advertising may be displayed on all devices on which you are or were logged in.
Please also note that we cannot track all processing on the social media portals. Depending on the provider, further processing operations may therefore be carried out by the operators of the social media portals. For details, please refer to the terms of use and privacy policies of the respective social media portals.
Legal basis
Our social media presences are designed to ensure the broadest possible presence on the Internet. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal bases, which are to be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO).
Responsible person and assertion of rights
If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g. Facebook), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. You can exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint) in principle both vis-à-vis us and against us. us as well as vis-à-vis the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. Facebook).
Please note that despite the joint responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing operations of the social media portals. Our options are largely determined by the corporate policy of the respective provider.
Storage duration
The data collected directly by us via the social media presence will be deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for storing it no longer applies, you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them. Mandatory legal provisions – esp. retention periods – remain unaffected.
We have no influence on the storage period of your data, which is stored by the operators of the social networks for their own purposes. For details, please contact the operators of the social networks directly (e.g. in their privacy policy, see below).

Plugins and tools
YouTube with enhanced privacy
This website embeds videos from YouTube. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode causes YouTube not to store information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. The transfer of data to YouTube partners, on the other hand, is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode. Thus, YouTube – regardless of whether you watch a video – connects to the Google DoubleClick network.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, YouTube may store various cookies on your end device after starting a video or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting). In this way, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience, and prevent fraud attempts. The cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them.
If necessary, further data processing operations may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no control.
YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is based exclusively on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.
For more information about privacy at YouTube, please see their privacy policy at: YouTube Privacy Policy.
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called Google Fonts, which are provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. The Google Fonts are installed locally. A connection to Google servers does not take place.
For more information about Google Fonts, please visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and read Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de .
Google Maps
This site uses the map service Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.
If Google Maps is enabled, Google may use Google Fonts for the purpose of uniform font display. When you call up Google Maps, your browser loads the required Google Fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and an easy location of the places indicated by us on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is based exclusively on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. A DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/ and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/sccs/.
More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by e-mail, post or via the online application form). In the following, we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure that the collection, processing and use of your data will be in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other legal provisions and that your data will be treated in strict confidence.

The consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to persons who are involved in processing your application.

Subsequently, the data is deleted and the physical application documents are destroyed. The storage serves in particular evidence purposes in the event of a legal dispute. If it is evident that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), deletion will only take place when the purpose for continued storage no longer applies.
A longer storage can also take place if you have given a corresponding consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) or if legal storage obligations oppose the deletion.
Inclusion in the applicant pool
If we do not make you a job offer, we may be able to include you in our applicant pool. In case of acceptance, all documents and information from the application will be transferred to the applicant pool in order to contact you in case of suitable vacancies.
Inclusion in the applicant pool is based exclusively on your express consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). The submission of the consent is voluntary and is not related to the current application process. The data subject may revoke his/her consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool, unless there are legal reasons for retention.
The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been given.
