You will learn how to use modern leadership principles effectively in your organization, give meaning and direction, strengthen self- and team leadership, moderate retrospectives, use feedback and coaching confidently and drive cultural and change work in a targeted manner. Contents and procedure of the Agile Leadership Training
Day 1 – The role of the manager in agility
- Connections between agility and leadership (Agile Manifesto, Cynefin Framework)
- Management 3.0 perspective: manager as “gardener” of the team
- Mapping: Leadership compass and corporate values in agile contexts
- Leadership wheel and leadership styles (e.g. transactional, transformational, management by exception)
Day 2 – Leading yourself and being a role model
- Transactional analysis for self-reflection (Parent/Adult/Child)
- Confidence triangle and self-management (attitude, presence, clarity)
- Giving and receiving feedback (SBI-PC model)
- Understanding motivators (Purpose, Autonomy, Mastery; Moving Motivators / Management 3.0)
Day 3 – Building a strong team
- Building trust: 5 dysfunctions of a team, psychological safety, Project Aristotle
- Feel and measure team spirit: Team radar
- Moderating retrospectives (phases, formats) and using collegial case consultation effectively
Day 4 – Supporting people and developing teams
- Strengthen self-organization: Delegation (ShuHaRi), Delegation Poker & Delegation Matrix
- Setting guard rails: Briefing & Backbriefing
- Team competence matrix (making skills visible)
- Coaching according to IGROW (Issue, Goal, Reality, Options, Will)
Day 5 – Shaping culture and shaping organizations
- Accompanying change (Management 3.0 Change Model, Kotter Stage Model, Change Patterns)
- Strengthen culture (water lily model: artifacts, values/norms, basic assumptions)
- Organizational development: from silo to network organization, network analysis/ONA
- Conclusion: Insights, commitments & next steps
